Honeymoon Murderer Escapes Custody
Breakout City - James Smith has escaped from police custody. James is infamous for marrying heiress Victoria Van Kress then murdering her on their honeymoon. He was recently convicted, and the sentencing trial was scheduled for tomorrow; however, authorities announced today that Smith had escaped.
A massive manhunt is currently underway. Police are questioning everyone who knew Smith in an effort to determine where he might go; they are offering a reward for any information leading to his capture.
There is no official word yet on how Smith escaped custody. Authorities have promised a full investigation into the matter. A member of the Van Kress family, speaking on condition of anonymity, responded to the news by saying, “The pain and suffering that James has caused this family is seemingly endless. I hope when the police find him they shoot him on sight.” While no one knows what the fugitive might do next, it’s safe to say that he is a desperate man.
